Current prices of some agricultural products:

- Chili peppers: Currently, chili is in the final harvest season of the first phase. The main consumption market is domestic, the current selling price is from 3,000-4,000 VND/kg, the price is down from 23,000-27,000 VND/kg compared to the previous season. with the beginning of the season, and a sharp drop in prices compared to the same period in previous years, causing many people in districts that grow chili like Quang Ngai city, Tu Nghia and Binh Son districts to suffer.

In Tra Vinh province

Some agricultural products have been affected, dropped in price, consumed slowly, are backlogged, and producers are unprofitable and suffer losses, such as: Grapefruit, mango, guava, snakehead fish, whiteleg shrimp, to be specific. :

- Grapefruit: Planting area is 1,957 hectares, fruiting area is 1,505 hectares, harvested output from the beginning of the year to date is 4,000 tons.

- Mango: The planting area is 1,563 hectares, the fruiting area is 1,388 hectares, the harvested output is about 4,500 tons.

- Guava: Planting area is 286 ha, fruiting area is about 200 ha, yield is 2,300 tons.

- Snakehead fish: The farming area from August 2020 to now is 446 hectares, of which the area to harvest is about 236 hectares, the yield is over 16,400 tons. It is estimated that the remaining output until the harvest period is about 10,000 tons, due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic, consumption is slow.

- Vannamei shrimp: 3,289 ha has been stocked, the yield is 16,806 tons. Estimated output to the harvest period is 4,500 tons. Currently, the purchasing price is falling sharply, so consumption is slow, some places of the district traders do not announce the price.

In Ha Tinh province

Some agricultural products (such as rice, chili...) cannot be purchased by traders in the northern provinces during the harvest season, causing the price of chili to continuously decrease, some items are difficult to transport out of the epidemic area, and the quantity traders buy less compared to previous years.

The impact of the Covid-19 epidemic has made it difficult for aquaculture products to export, consumption is slow, the selling price of some products has decreased, such as the price of shrimp, which has now decreased by 10-15% compared to 2019 and decreased by 20 %. % compared to February 2021…, greatly affecting the psychology of reinvesting in production and farming.

In Kon Tum province

Agricultural production in Kon Tum province is subject to many unfavorable factors, facing many difficulties and challenges such as natural disasters, frequent and widespread epidemics (Food-and-mouth disease, African swine fever, inflammatory diseases) skin lumps in cattle (new disease)).
